The irony of this post is that I hated high school and most of the people that went to my high school. They were mostly preppie scum. I could care less if anyone else thinks their high school is better.

That’s what makes it fun! I despised high school, too. Apparently Southeast has changed somewhat since I went there. We had all preppies, all the time. You guys had REALLY nice carpeted halls, though.
The carpet was orange man, ORANGE! Everything was ORANGE! But the school colors were BLUE AND GOLD!

the weirdest thing about my old high school now is that it’s in the “city”. It didn’t even exist when I was born and there was nothing west of our house. Even when my parents moved after I graduated from HS they moved out to where there was nothing west of their house. Now Wichita has practically taken over Goddard.
I think the USD 259 just accepted leftover materials from other city projects. Heights’ colors were red and white, yet nearly everything in the school was a light turquoise color, and I remember seeing that shade in lots of other school buildings. I’m thinking that the city bought too much water tower paint and made them an offer they couldn’t refuse.
