I was born in Wichita, KS (I would include a link to a Wichita Home page but I’m having a hard time finding one with anything of interest on it) on Friday August 13th 1971 cool, huh?) I’ve lived there all of my life until I moved to Albuquerque, NM.
I attended Wichita Northwest H.S. and graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors of science in Biochemistry.
I used to work for Heartspring doing Internet and Intranet development work. We recently published a site for an organization that we sponsor, the Shaklee Institute. I did all of the programming & development on that site as well as this site.
After Heartspring I got a job offer to work for Sun Healthcare in Albuquerque, NM. (you know that place that Bugs Bunny should have taken that left turn at). I worked for them for a while, then moved on to work at Cerebus consulting. They suffered at the hands of upper management and the dot-bomb fallout.
Then I went to work for the BiosGroup in Santa Fe, NM. They are a group of REALLY smart people. Leading experts in complexity science (even if they do deliver a lot of their solutions on the Java platform…ugh).
Now I’ve moved to Seattle and I love this city. I’ve wanted to move here for many, many years now. My Grandparents lived near Tacoma, my father grew up in the Pacific NW. I’ve always felt like Seattle was a second hometown to me. I’m working at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center doing application development.
